Windows installation guide
Recommended for pilot deployment on internal desktop environments.
Prerequisites
- Windows x64 machine with local admin install permission.
- Pilot account details prepared (admin email and password policy).
- Network policy allows access to required local model/runtime endpoints.
Installation steps
- 1Download the latest Windows setup package.
- 2Run setup.exe and complete installation with default options.
- 3Launch 123AIChat and open the local URL shown in the launcher.
- 4Create admin account and complete first-time setup.
- 5Create one channel and trigger @bots to confirm AI response flow.
Troubleshooting
Installer blocked by policy
Run installer with local administrator privileges and verify endpoint security policy exceptions.
App launches but no AI output
Check model routing and runtime status from admin settings before retesting.
Rollback note
If pilot validation fails, uninstall the current package, capture logs and screenshots, then restore from your previous known-good environment before retrying with updated settings.
